Shuchismita Das is a wildlife researcher with experience in the ecology of avian fauna and their ecosystem services. Having completed her Master's in Zoology, she worked at the Wildlife Institute of India on a project for conservation and habitat restoration of aqualife of the river Ganga. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Wildlife Sciences from Amity Institute of Forestry and Wildlife, Amity University, India.
