Feng Li

Feng Li, PhD in Ecology, is a Professor at the Landscape Architecture Department of the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Doctoral Supervisor. And he is also a Director of the Ecological Restoration Research Center of the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Visiting Scholar at Stanford University in the United States. His main research interests are urban ecology, landscape planning and ecological restoration, ecological space and infrastructure, and ecological assets and ecological products. He is the President of the China Chapter of the International Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP), the Director of the urban ecology committee, of the Ecological Society of China (ESC) and the Vice President of the Urban Forest Council, Chinese Society of Forestry (UFCCSF). He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Cleaner Production, Acta Ecologica Sinica and Environmental Protection Science. He has hosted over 30 research projects at national, provincial, ministerial and municipal levels. He published more than 150 papers and nine books. He has been awarded nine international, national, provincial and ministerial scientific and technological awards. Prof. Li has been selected for the Elsevier list of highly cited scholars in China from 2020 to 2022. His research results have provided the scientific basis and decision-making advice for ecological restoration and high-quality green development in areas, e.g. Xiongan New Area, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Pearl River Delta and Inner Mongolia.
