Ceolfrid Fognweh Ngeghe

Ceolfrid Fognweh Ngeghe is a PhD student at the Department of Plant Sciences, the University of Bamenda, Cameroon, where he obtained his Master Degree in Applied Botany. Having participated in many research works focused on nature conservation at Apiculture and Nature Conservation Bamenda, he got interested in community based activities that contribute to local communities knowledge and awareness on sustainable use of wetlands. Especially for youths where he has often volunteered and built their capacity in nature based sustainable economic activities. Ngeghe has also been a powerful resource person in guiding foreign researchers in the Western Highlands ecoregion of Cameroon hosting many thretened species. He is also undertaking further training on remote sensing for his better assessment and planning of anthropogenic activities influencing ecosystems and biodiversity.
