Leah Prescott

University of Nevada, Reno

Leah is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Nevada, Reno in Dr. Beth Leger's lab where she studies native seed ecology and restoration. Leah is originally from Rochester, New York and received her bachelor's in Biology and English from the College of Wooster. From 2018 to 2020 she was the Seeds of Success National Curator where she managed a database of over 25,000 native seed collections that she is currently analyzing for her dissertation. Leah also serves as Treasurer for the International Network for Seed-based Restoration.
