Jeronimo Sansevero

Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro

Graduate in Forestry Engineering from the Federal University of Espírito Santo, master's degree and PhD from the National School of Tropical Botany (ENBT) - Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Forest Institute at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) and a member of the Applied Ecology Laboratory-LEAp-UFRRJ. Main research lines: plant ecology, functional ecology, successional trajectories modeling, ecological restoration, and ecosystem services. It also develops activities to formulate and strengthen public policies to promote large-scale ecological restoration.
