I am the Programme Manager of the School of Environmental Management at Southern Institute of Technology - Te Pūkenga, Invercargill, Aotearoa New Zealand, researching the restoration of our coastal wetlands and forests. I hold a Masters degree from University of Melbourne exploring the relationship between farmers, Brolga (Grus rubicunda) and implication for conservation of the species on private land in south-west Victoria. I am passionate about botany, ecology and understanding our threatened spaces within a socio-ecological systems thinking framework.
