South African National Biodiversity Institute

I am a research fellow in the Regional Programme Coordinator in South African National Biodiversity Institute, and I am interested in conservation ecology and environmental sustainability research. I specifically examine the impact of exotic plants on ecosystem livelihood (e.g., restoration) and human well-being (e.g., food security); protected area biodiversity management; and the South African biodiversity economic sector. While implementing the management plan for various species, and restoring tha natural capital where clearing has been done, I also perform risk assessmeent for  various alien taxa.
