Danilo Urzedo

Danilo Urzedo is a social scientist and a Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO. Before completing his PhD in Human Geography, he worked as a community forester at Xingu Seed Network in the Brazilian Amazon alongside Indigenous and rural communities to supply tons of native seeds to restore degraded ecosystems. His research focuses on how community-led practices can disrupt and transform restoration towards just and inclusive planning, actions, and policies.
