Prony Resources New Caledonia

I graduated with a Ph.D in Plant ecology from the Australian National University for my thesis on "the dynamics of Gymnostoma dominated vegetation in New Caledonia". I have been working for the past 26 years for Prony Resources inventorying the flora and promoting scientific knowledge and use of endemic species for revegetation of the mine complex and other mine ventures in New Caledonia. My most recent fields of work include knowledge transfer training of endemic species production to indigenous communities, native species nursery management, biosecurity and SO2 emission monitoring, rare species conservation (IUCN local contributer) and endemic revegetation trials on mine sites and mud tailings. Current collaborative works include evaluation of mycorrhizael technology developped by local scientific institutions (IAC, UNC) in native species production and revegetation.
