I'm a civil engineer who retrained as an ecologist to pursue my passion for nature.

Currently, I'm postdoc at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, working in the group of Jordi Bascompte.

My research explores the responses of ecological communities to environmental change, with a focus on the interplay between species interactions and their influence on community dynamics. I'm especially interested in understanding the consequences of habitat restoration on these communities. To accomplish this, I employ computational models that integrate metacommunity and network theory concepts. Ultimately, my goal is to use the insights gained to inform effective management, conservation, and restoration strategies.
