Jen is a highly experienced practitioner with more than 26 years working in the ecological restoration industry in Australia. She has successfully applied a range of restoration approaches (assisted regeneration, reconstruction and natural regeneration) on a wide range of ecosystem types including coastal environments (islands, dunes, mangrove, wetland.and saltmarsh), creek and river systems, and a wide range of forest ecosystems including sub tropical and tropical rainforest and wet and dry Eucalyptus forest types. Jen currently leads a large, multi-disciplinary team of scientists and practitioners to develop practical restoration plans, restore a wide variety of sites throughout parts of Queensland and New South Wales, and monitor and report on small and large scale projects. Jen is passionate about working positively with a wide range of stakeholders and is particulalrly passionate about partnering with First Nations groups to heal as much country between the ridges and the reef as possible.
