B.Altantsetseg I am a botanist and plant ecologist with a focus on rangeland monitoring, endemic and rare plant conservation, native plant propagation and rehabilitation at Gobi-Desert ecozone as well boreal forest reforestation. Currently, I work in Oyu Tolgoi copper and gold company as a Rehabilitation Specialist. My research centers on the relationships between plant community and soil condition, particularly Gobi-Desert native plant propagation, and its potential applications in reforestation programs. I possess a deep understanding of desert plant, soil and its taxonomy, environmental impact assessment, local community engagement as well as leadership. Additionally, I facilitate connections between our company, government agencies, non-government organizations, and the private sector to establish a billion tree planting projects in Mongolia. Last but not least, I aim to develop applied science in the mining industry, which is necessary for the scientific and responsible development.
