Adrian Juncosa

Adrian Juncosa is an ecologist with 34 years of consulting experience in public and private sector projects in ecological settings ranging from deserts to montane regions to tropical forests in Latin America, Asia, and West Africa. His scientific expertise includes botany (systematics and plant water relations); vegetation classification, mapping, and ecology; soil science; restoration ecology; wetland and riparian delineation, permitting, restoration, and monitoring; environmental impact assessment and mitigation; and expertise with several groups of rare wildlife species. He has completed projects including major mine environmental studies and restoration planning and implementation, riparian and wetland restoration on public lands in highly sensitive watersheds, utility lines, and recreational and residential developments. He has taught soils and revegetation courses, presented talks at numerous scientific conferences, and has published many papers in peer-reviewed periodicals and books.
