Lucia Lynch

Energy Resources of Australia

Lucia grew up in Darwin and moved to Melbourne to complete a degree in environmental and atmospheric science before returning to the Top End to work. She did a short term in the Land Assessment team with the Northern Territory Government then moved into environmental consulting where she worked predominantly on projects in the resource sector. Her role involved compliance monitoring and EIS preparation for a variety of sites including gas plants and mines from exploration to care and maintenance stages. Her work has taken her to many remote locations across northern Australia. In the last two years she’s been a part of the rehabilitation project of the former Ranger uranium mine. She is currently working as a Rehabilitation & Ecology Advisor in the Field Studies and Monitoring team where she leads the terrestrial ecology research fieldwork and the adaptive management monitoring of revegetated areas.
