Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden

I’m an ecologist with a focus on plant ecology in tropical forests. My research interests are secondary succession, ecological restoration, plant phenology, tree growth, seed dispersal, plant functional traits and landscape ecology. I obtained my PhD at the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, with an exchange period at the University of Connecticut, USA. During my PhD, I studied the factors that affect forest restoration in the Atlantic Forest, in southern Brazil. I currently work at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG), in Hong Kong, where I'm investigating the key drivers of restoration success to help in the planning of effective restoration actions in the region.
