Dr. Jonathan Gheyssens is UNEP Programme Officer at the Climate Finance Unit, advising on issues ranging from restoration and deforestation-free finance, climate finance, carbon and biodiversity market mechanisms and business development for nature-based solutions. He has published several papers on REDD+ mechanisms and climate finance and has co-authored a book on Environmental Finance and Investment.
